Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program is designed to allow international students and temporary foreign workers who have one year of work experience in Canada to apply and become Permanent Residents of Canada. If you have Canadian work experience in an occupation listed under TEER 0 or TEER 1 or TEER 2 or even TEER 3 then you might be a potential applicant for the program provided you fulfill other criteria.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

The provincial nomination is an important fast-track option for Canadian permanent residence. The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province. Canadian provinces or territories (Except the province of Quebec) have agreements with the government of Canada to select applicants for Permanent Residency under their own unique nominee programs. The suitable candidates should apply to the express entry pool under the federal program and the interested province will nominate the qualified candidates who had chosen the said province or territory.

Other than that, there are some provinces who offers some special program (other than Express Entry process) to select qualified applicants to address the labor shortage of that province.
